WHAT I NEED


I guess what I really want is to know

I am loved, when I'm no one at all

No one important and no one who's special

like Cinderella after the ball

and I need to be liked when I feel like doing nothing!

When I just want to sit and not read

and maybe just stare into space and not think

You know, I guess what I most need

is to just know that you

you and God

think I'm wonderful

and I'll think the same about you

To know someone still loves me

anyway

when I'm nobody with nothin' to do
