LITTLE DASCHE

Here you have a view of the newest grandson, baby Elijah Daschel Atticus Aldridge, otherwise known as DASHCE Isn't that a lot of names for a little guy? but they just couldn't decide, so they kept them all.

Grandma's Attic

A great Grandma is someone whose cookie jar is never empty,
and whose attic is always full of fun things to find.
.

Grandma's attic is a wonderland
of things too good to burn
But still we have no room for it
Supposing we return
and pick it up next time we take a trip
so, when do they come back?
.
Thirty seven YEARS have passed!
But is Grandma keeping track?
I doubt it, next time I go visit
I'll tell Grandpa
.
COME WITH ME
.
UP THE MAGIC WOODEN STAIRS
.
He'll bring along the key
so we can open up the door
And we can wander around and see
And if I'm lucky, I might find
SOMETHING
that belongs to ME!
.

COMPANY TODAY !!

I haven't written much lately because not much has happened, but today, that was all changed with the arrival of two daughters, one grand-daughter, and two grand-sons.

Ruth, daughter # youngest flew into Boise, Idaho with her newest child, 6 month old Dasch. She reports that it was the kind of flight that no one ever wants to repeat. Ready?

After 3 plane changes between CA and Idaho, the plane circled overhead three or four times, lasting 45 minutes, then the pilot announced "I'm sorry, the weather won't let us land, and we're short on fuel, so I'm going to drop in at Salt Lake City to refuel."

So after being about 3 hours late, Ruth and babe were finally met in Boise by my 2nd daughter, Elaine, who lives in Boise. After spending the night there, they meandered over this way, into the great state of Oregon, and by 4 p.m. Grandma was holding a cute little baby she hadn't seen since he was one week old.

Elaine brought along Krista, 14, and Colton, 6. So we're planning the next few days together, getting re-acquainted. Ruth needed a few days away from life in Valencia, CA (25 minutes from Disneyland in case anyone wants to drop over) where she mothers 6 kids. (Jason's at BYU)

Since I'm new at this blogging, expect a lot of poetry, because that's what I do!!!!

Okay...

Okay, I thought I would show you what we all look like. The whole famdamily as my husband would say. This was taken last summer, at our last family reunion. Way too much fun!

Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog. How exciting. I have loved looking at other peoples blogs, and into other peoples lives, and seeing what is happening around the world, and thought that it was finally time that I joined in. I hope that you enjoy it here, and find something that is of interest to you.
