One month ago today since Karen posted. I am still in the boot, almost 8 weeks, and today I finally made it up the stairs (don't tell my Doctor) with Dee's help. Things look good, I'm still sleeping in the dining room (like I said, no stairs) which isn't as strange as it sounds. I think I'll buy a couch to put in there.

David left today for two weeks in Hawaii with a friend. Headed for an organic plantation where their friend lives, he was so excited! Travel is fun, and he needed a vacation. Been working all summer.
I was glued to the TV yesterday watching the miners emerge from inner space. What a wonderful day for the whole world. One of them said, "There were actually 34 of us down there, God never left us" Good news and joy for a change on TV
