ONE MORE SPRING!

One more spring! the daffodils and buttercups to see
One more spring
to head into a lake
Just you and me, we'll take our fishing poles
a peanut butter sandwich and a drink
and
we can spend the day together
just sit back and think
about the snow we trudged in, bundled up
back then in November
Oh!
I'm glad for one more spring!
I need time to remember all my blessings
World, so clean and fresh now in the month of May
I settle back
and feel the sun
it's gentle warming ray falls out across the water
World!
You are too beautiful for me!
Thank you, God
for one more spring
that you've poured out on me
