COME SEE OREGON
Winter's not the time to come if you don't care for cold
so wait for summer suns to melt
such beauty you'll behold in early SPRING !
the mountains sing!
Each thing just reaches out to you
and says
Oh! come see Oregon
It's the only thing to do
If you want cool caressing evenings
when we sit around and talk
and watch the moon come up
We seldom listen for the clock
Then SUMMER is the time to be here
and see Oregon in full bloom!
Wheat fields in the FALL delight
as evening comes , the moon
is better yet in August
Brighter even in SEPTEMBER
giving us its glory
All the year we will remember that
no matter what the reason or the season
Come and see!
Oregon feels wonderful!
