CEMETERY DAY
Just up the road from our house is the oldest burial ground around here. Many were the first settlers back in 1864. On Monday we headed into town to the "new cemetery where Dee's folks are buried, and decided to drop in on all the OLD old folks. It was fascinating to read all the old dates and little poems they put on them. So many children died young. Some were family plots, and were surrounded with iron fences, like in Dee's photo. And it was one of those blue sky, cloud filled days that make you feel just wonderful to be alive.
