THE FLOOD

Jacob 1:7

We labored that he might enter into his rest


So, the day after we got home, we found the basement flooded.
because

3 Nephi 14:27
and the rain descended and the floods came and the winds blew
and beat upon the house



We had two hoses going





Our first look at the basement

Luckily, we have learned from past floods

to put things up high, so not much loss except one mattress







Linn and David got into action









David rented a pump in town











The water finally started to go down and the pumps ran all night

because snow melted above us, and there are floods all over town.

Thanks heaven for David and Linn, so Dee could rest.
