Yesterday Gramps and I got out for a little walk.
Doesn't he look handsome in Grandpa May's old hat?
I wish more men wore hats nowdays. Very dapper.
It was a beautiful day, 70 degrees. We even walked out through the orchard and checked out the trees.
Lots of fruit out there.

Today I got some cute photos from Elaine of their family (at least the ones left at home)
I love the background, looks like a great place.
My little Colton with blonde hair is all grown up now at age 9, and the blonde hair is brown. The years go by too fast.

Today was a red-letter day. After about 20 years of saying I was going to publish my book on manic-depression, I actually mailed in part of the manuscript to Deseret Books. It may take up to 8 weeks til they read it, and then if accepted , publication would take at least a year. But the main thing here is: I FINALLY QUIT SAYING IT AND DID IT! I also found out that I need to do more writing about the past 6 years, if I want it to be up to date. Along the way, I found a notebook from the early 1990s with poetry in I haven't read in years. It's like reading what someone else wrote~~~~~~the ME in past years. I love journal-keeping (and finding)

JACKSON FULLER ON MISSION IN PERU
Latest news from Jackson is about his recent baptism." The boy's name was Roger and my companion did the baptism. First of all the water was freezing cold. He did the baptism and the first time Roger's toe came up. So he did it again. Which is normal. The second time it went good and they came out and we were getting ready to confirm him when the ward president asked him his full name and it was different from when he told my companion before the baptism! so they had to go change back into their wet clothes and do it all over again! The baptism service was almost 3 hours long because they do tons of food and have a party afterwards. But it was really cool and a really good experience" ALL THE FAMILY AT HOME ARE REALLY PROUD OF JACKSON, AND ARE BLESSED BECAUSE HE IS SERVING THE LORD.
