I may be the only Grandma in town
who has a grand-daughter
Nicole Rudd
in Thailand this month, riding on an elephant, no less 
Here is how she described it:
Here is how she described it: We all piled into a truck and drove to where the elephants were!
It was soo cool and so much fun!
That was my favorite part so far
They are so huge and so nice.
They kept sticking their trunks in our faces though
because they all wanted food.
The ride was bumpy and not too long, but just long enough
In the Akha village That night we got to dress up in the
Akha women's traditional clothing.
It was lots of fun and we
danced around the fire.

What a fun thing for 20 year old girls to do before they
get married and settle down into the 'real' world.

grandma! i love the pictures! haha im sad that i missed your visit the other day to boise! hopefully we will come to lagrande soon to see you guys, i feel like i havent been there in forever!!!!! hope you guys are doing good! thailand is still amazing:) im sad to leave, but excited to get home and see family. talk to you sooN! xoxo nicole
